The Roxy Gunn Project is an eclectic, folk-based rock band from Las
Vegas, NV. The Project is fronted by the soulful, warm voice of Roxy
Gunn and backed up by a driving, edgy hard rock guitar sound. The
Project has performed at several Las Vegas area venues that include;
House of Blues (Courtyard - Michael Soli’s Acoustic Strip), Santa Fe
Station Hotel & Casino (Chrome Showroom), Sunset Station Hotel &
Casino (Club Madrid), The Palms Hotel & Casino (The Lounge), and
many other rock-based clubs.
The Roxy Gunn Project was formed in late 2010 as singer/songwriter, Roxy
Gunn decided to shift her main musical focus from solo artist to a
full-blown rock band.
In 2011 they won an award for "Vegas Stars of Tomorrow" at the Vegas
Rocks Magazine Awards Show and were cast in the upcoming feature movie
"Road to Hell", which is a loosely based sequel to the 1984 feature
"Streets of Fire".
